1. I took this photo of a field in Dexter. I do not know the exact location as I was just passing by. I didn't really consciously do anything to influence the composition. I am trying to convey a feeling of serenity. One trial I had to overcome was taking a picture with a cell phone in a moving vehicle.
2. I took this photo of a field by my house. It is off of Joy Road. I took the photo at an angle going down the road as well as one overlooking the field. I am trying to convey a feeling of tranquility. One trial I had to overcome was dodging oncoming cars with superhuman speed and agility, which I definitely did.
3. I took this photo by that dam at that one park where everyone goes. It is of the river/reservoir/puddle/whatever. I made sure to only get the river in the shot. I am trying to convey a feeling of fluidity. One trial I had to overcome was taking a picture with a cell phone in a moving vehicle.
4. I took this photo of the Huron River. I took it on Huron River Drive (I think). I tried to take pictures at an angle going down the river. I am trying to convey a feeling of shock and awe. One trial I had to overcome was escaping the Coast Guard in my canoe.
5. I took this photo of another field by my house. I took it on Whitmore Lake Road. I tried to capture the full expanse of the sprawling sward. I am trying to convey that special feeling of "Oh my God, I think I forgot to turn the stove off before I left for the airport. This is a horrible sign. I just want this vacation to go well so I can turn my dispassionate marriage around and revive that old flame between us. God help me." One trial I had to overcome was the poor lighting.
